Welcome to the Primary Years!
The aim of our Primary years at
Mercury Bay Area School is to provide a safe, responsive environment that enables our students to grow into their best selves, socially, emotionally and academically.
Our strong school community is built on our shared values of Kindness, Achievement, Unity, Respect and Identity (KAURI) and our desire to be purposeful in our quest to “Grow Good People”, “Grow Good Learners” and "Grow Good Leaders".
The provision of a positive school environment, promoting safe and creative play, is a pivotal component of our educational philosophy. Developmentally appropriate practice and cultural responsivity underpins teaching and learning at all levels.
