Year 9 an 10 students will have compulsory courses in the following learning areas:
English
Health
Mathematics
Physical Education
Science
Social Sciences
Alongside these learning areas, students will select courses from Literacy and Numeracy classes in areas of interest. All students choose 1 course for Literacy and 1 for Numeracy for each semester (half-year).
Students have had a voice into the options on offer. They have indicated what their interests are, and courses have been designed to suit. Students will select 2 options each semester (half-year) in both Years 9 and 10.
Students will select one Academy option. The Academy is designed to enhance knowledge and skills in a practical application, preparing students for the real world.
It is really important that parents go through these selections carefully with their child, as choices can not be changed once our timetable has been finalised.
