Primary Years Technology

Technology education explores how new products and systems are developed, and how technological developments impact on our world. It starts with curiosity and gives our new students the license to design, make, play and develop.

Technology in the Primary Years

Students from year one through to year six will be given opportunities to explore the three strands of the technology curriculum: technological practice, technological knowledge and the nature of technology. This programme is taught by the classroom teacher and will be developed using authentic contexts that are often integrated with other curriculum subjects.

Digital Technologies

All our primary students have access to digital technologies that are appropriate to their age and the contexts for learning they are undertaking. From Year 4, chromebooks are an integral part of the classroom programme.
