Urgent message from Mr Wright

Morena tatou
The media are reporting a "rostering home of students - commencing with Year 9 on Tuesday 4 June".
From my understanding (and I have had no official information at the time of writing) this action relates to the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement actions - led by PPTA affecting Secondary Schools elsewhere in the country.
Primary schools across NZ are covered under the Primary Teachers' Collective Agreement and I have heard no detail of any action that may be taken by these teachers elsewhere in the country.
Mercury Bay Area School teachers are covered under the NZ Area Schools' Teachers' Collective Agreement and the proposed rostering home action has not been communicated to me by PPTA/NZ School Trustees Association nor MoE; so it will be schooling and learning as usual for our school next week.
I have had no detail at all about the proposed regional rolling strikes across our country - I will let you know as soon as I have any detail.
I would expect all students and teacher at school on Tuesday ready for learning and teaching.
If there are developments that occur over the weekend I will be in touch.
Once again if you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me
Kind regards
