We sent a team to compete in the TVSS Athletics last week also and came home with some great results.
Below are our results from the Thames Valley Primary Swimming competition for our Peninsula Cluster Team. This includes students from our local schools who are part of the Peninsula Cluster Team.
Well done to all competitors - some fantastic results. Overall Peninsula Cluster Team were 4th.

Junior Netball Years 5-8 and Representative Years 6-8 trials will be held on Wednesday 15 March 4pm at the Sports park.

Milly Lamason and Aimee Burton attended the Hillcrest Festival Meet in Hamilton on Sunday 16 October 2016.
Milly swam five races and Aimee swam six races and they got personal best times (PBs) in each of their races. Top ten finishes in their age groups included:
Milly Lamason 5th in Girls 11 years & under 50m butterfly
Aimee Burton 7th in Girls 12-13 years 100m breastroke
Milly Lamason went onto Central North Island Champs in Rotorua 21st - 23rd October competing against Hawkes Bay, BOP, Waikato, Taranaki & Manuwatu and qualified for 6 races with 3 PB's.
Six MBAS students attended the National Secondary School Surf Comp in Raglan where over 20 Schools from over New Zealand competed. Our students competing were Julian Evereth, Tangaroa Lewis, Atawhai Charteris, Harry Evans, Ben Smith and James Scott.
Mercury Bay Area School came out 6th overall on points.

Netball MBAS Senior A Preparing for UNISS - The upper North Island Secondary Schools tournament
Senior A played at the WBoP secondary school netball tournie in Rororua August 6. A VERY cold tournie in Rotorua for WBoP UNISS teams. MBAS won 1 of 6 games. The team we won against is in the same grade as us at UNISS. A very positive tournie for us, as we could see where we stand against teams in higher grades. Bring on UNISS!!! Semi Final results for our Devo and 4th grade boys - August 6
4th grade played a massive game against HPC with a big home crowd, held up on the try line twice it was so close but the end result was a 5-0 loss
Development played in Waihi with a loss of 28-3. Penalty kick to Joe Reynolds and Players of the Day - Fletcher Bale and Daniel MacFarlane.

Every Tuesday night Senior A's are travelling to play teams in Paeroa and Thames in preparation for their UNISS debut. They have just returned from WBoP Tournie in Rotorua where they could measure their skill against future UNISS Teams. Congrtas to Grace Ngataua - identified at the WBoP Secondary School Tournie.
Basketball finals will be held at MBAS Gym on the 26 August. Times will beconfirmed.
